seeding live sand with sand from establish tank
Well, 3 days pass since I seeded my dead sand, and I am seeing some green algae coming up, not those nasty diatom kind but actually circular green coralline, hopefully I will get some pink or purple ones soon. No live stock yet in my tank. I am waiting for surface skimmer and power head for additional water movement before I start adding live stock it seems I am not getting good gas exchange due to the fact that i have oil build up on my water surface. I hope surface skimmer will help.
I will post pics once I received the items on Wednesday.
Just another week I will be adding live stock, hermit crab and some snails first.
