Update

Well I have not post anything for while. I was traveling for while and did not had time to maintain my tank too well. I am shame of killing Nemo and his father (should I say mother). Anyway my son was really upset that they disappeared, good thing my cleanup crew did excellent job could not find any remaining, which was really good thing, so my kid did not find any carcus floating around in the tank.

Well I will post pic pretty soon, I will need to do some cleaning but I am too busy (Making excuses).

Nemo and his father.

My kid wanted nemo and father, so I finally decide to add live stock.

Tank itself is cycle completed, but I had mini cycle due to livestock introduction.

seeding live sand with sand from establish tank

Well, 3 days pass since I seeded my dead sand, and I am seeing some green algae coming up, not those nasty diatom kind but actually circular green coralline, hopefully I will get some pink or purple ones soon. No live stock yet in my tank. I am waiting for surface skimmer and power head for additional water movement before I start adding live stock it seems I am not getting good gas exchange due to the fact that i have oil build up on my water surface. I hope surface skimmer will help.

I will post pics once I received the items on Wednesday.

Just another week I will be adding live stock, hermit crab and some snails first.
